Hi Jean! Thank you so much for the compliment. Coming from you it's an honour. We absolutely loved the conference. Meeting you was a thrill for the both of us. Meeting everyone else was a huge bonus! We learned so much and have come away that much more confidence in our business and Coffee News! We already knew we stumbled on an opportunity of a lifetime - this weekend simply confirmed it completely.

We enjoyed ourselves so very much and look forward to future opportunities to spend quality time with you. You have a beautiful home Jean. Thank you so very much for your hospitality.

Sincerely,
Gina Bell,
Coffee News of Regina

P.S. We'll be sending you a CD with the pictures we took throughout the weekend. Steve is very enthusiastic about our camera as you may have noticed :) There is a hilarious picture of the group on the bus reading a copy of Coffee News!

TESTIMONIAL

The lady called and said she's been reading Coffee News for a little over a year. (We've been publishing for about 18 months). She said "I just want to tell you how wonderful your Coffee News is!" We talked a little and she went on to say she stopped in at a new advertiser this week and told them:"I drive by here all the time but I stopped by here today BECAUSE of Coffee News!"

She also praised another advertiser who she did business with a while ago. She said whenever she needs a new service from a local business she always checks in Coffee News first because she knows she can TRUST the businesses who advertise there.

She wrapped up by telling me: "You're providing a great service to our community. Keep up the good work!"

(Of course I told her we would!) Does it get ANY BETTER than this?

Have a great day everyone,
Kevin Stirtz

DISTRIBUTION TESTIMONIAL

From: JONNI WEB, FRANCHISEE

Taryn,
Glad to know the McDonald's info was useful. As with McDonald's, Subway is a big, big distribution location for me here in central Mississippi. I'm in about 9 or 10 Subways in my areas with several different owners. Basically, I'm in all of the Subways in this area except for one and he says it is against Subway's regulations. I've told him that we're in all of the others and he, very nicely, has decided that it is okay if everyone else wants to display them, but he will not. I love being in these Subways because they usually display them on the counter either where people have to stand in line to order and dress their sandwiches or at the cash register. Most of my Subways go through at least 50 per week. One of the owners in the new area called to let me know they ran out early in the week because of heavy lunch crowds and also asked that we put them in another of his Subways that we didn't even know existed!!! That was exciting! He takes care of the stands, too, if they get empty. I've never heard one complaint from any Subway owner or manager that we deal with! Hope that helps. Jonni

CANADIAN FRANCHISEE TESTIMONIAL
From: MAXINE LARWAY, FRANCHISEE
Good morning Jean,

Thought I would touch base with you. A lot has been going on the last 10 days or so. I jumped into the coffee news with a vigor after returning back from a vacation on Jan. 8th and have been going hard ever since! My first publication made it to the printers yesterday at 5:00 and this morning, I am a stress free women! What a job - I was still selling ads the night before. I managed to get 27 paid ads in - selling over $9000.00. I have 1 - one week, 2 - 5 weeks, 16 - 10 weeks and 8-52 weeks with a couple more starting the week after. I am truly a happy women!!!! I just pray that Bill (Martens) delivers the quality he promised. I will be absolutely crushed if he does not. I put soooooo much work into the layout and was actually quite proud of what I was able to accomplish. Bill did compliment me on my layout - the true test will be when it hits the streets! I distribute on Monday and was actually able to secure 5 new places - making distribution up to almost 40. I am very nervous and probably won't sleep well until that is out of the way.

Oh, and this too. I have a sister-in-law who lives outside of Brandon (about 20 miles). She is interested in the Coffee News Franchise. I could not find this area to be reserved. She is also considering just the Virden area and surround communities. I am not sure this area could handle the franchise (the population is probably 8,000/9,000 combined). She does not have access to a computer right now to ask for information so I told her I would ask on her behalf. Would you be able to send her a package ? Thanks Jean Maxine Larway Thompson, Manitoba Coffee News

Subject: CN Discussion: Mortgage Testimonial
From: Coffee News

Hi everyone!

I know a while back there were several mortgage category testimonials that were shared. Steve and I are at the point in our business where we're finally starting to receive testimonials of our own and this one is hot off the fax! (F.Y.I. We recently implemented a referral program and reward our existing clients with an additional week of advertising FREE in exchange for their testimonial.) Anyway, I just have to share this:

"Coffee News is great! Everybody reads it. There is no other advertising that gives you as much exposure as Coffee News. Coffee News is the easiest and most cost effecient form of marketing available. Steve and Gina at Coffee News are amazing their attention to customer service and satisfaction make it a real pleasure to work with them. They are always quick to respond with great advice and ideas for marketing your specific company. Thank you Coffee News for helping me be so successful."
