Glad to know the McDonald's info was useful. As with McDonald's, Subway is a big, big distribution location for me here in central Mississippi. I'm in about 9 or 10 Subways in my areas with several different owners. Basically, I'm in all of the Subways in this area except for one and he says it is against Subway's regulations. I've told him that we're in all of the others and he, very nicely, has decided that it is okay if everyone else wants to display them, but he will not. I love being in these Subways because they usually display them on the counter either where people have to stand in line to order and dress their sandwiches or at the cash register. Most of my Subways go through at least 50 per week. One of the owners in the new area called to let me know they ran out early in the week because of heavy lunch crowds and also asked that we put them in another of his Subways that we didn't even know existed!!! That was exciting! He takes care of the stands, too, if they get empty. I've never heard one complaint from any Subway owner or manager that we deal with! Hope that helps. Jonni

BURGER KING ACCEPTANCE

Great story from Ocala! I had a guy call the other day about an ad...at the end of the conversation, he asked if he could ask me a question. Being the nice person I am, I said, "Yes"! He asked why our publication was not in the Burger King Restaurants. I explained to him that I've been in contact with the executive offices here in Ocala and they have not made a commitment to place them in Burger King, although I would love to!

He told me that I had just gotten myself into Burger King! He was the district manager and that his boss really liked Coffee News and the fact that no restaurants were able to advertise in it. They do not allow any other publication in their establishments except now they'll have....Coffee News! Each of the managers I met with today to place the stands were excited about getting Coffee News. They read it in other places and really like the paper!

Just keep trying to get into the franchises...someday it will happen! Best of all, he took a double ad out in each issue! What a lucky day, eh? Barb/Ocala
